Ok so im moving back home with my family but have bed, fridge & double sofa i need storing away.

Will be for one year & so far i'm seeing a lot of £130amonth charger for 24/7 access which i really dont need.

So if anyone has done this before what did you do? Any advise on cheap(er) places?

When I lived on my own and moved back to the parents house, I just sold everything and things I couldn't get rid off (fridge, cooker, wardrobe) I just chucked.

I think you're better off sticking them on ebay/freecycle/gumtree

Even if you give them away the money you save by not storing them you can just use to buy them again when you move out, if you need them then.

man did this really warrant a thread for a sofa and a fridge!!

Use your noggin unless your fridge is gold plated and your 2 seater made of the finest Italian leather then just get rid of them. Start asking friends and family if they will have them in a garage or storage room.

Starting to think maybe its better to get rid of. Sofa was free, bed was £33 at an auction & fridge/freezer combo isnt even mine but other house mate doesnt want it.

http://www.uk.freecycle.org/ sounds interesting...maybe il do that. Just didnt think storage would cost soo much but obviously i was wrong.

My mate had his mum rent a garage from the local council and stored his stuff there. He had a bit more than you mind, he had to make some modifications for safety etc but it worked out about £9 a week.

In your case would give to local charity, local councils run one that will take furniture.
