As title, for my graduation :) Don't have a clue where to look or what quality looks like :p

more than likely fit your bill

A mitten is more likely to fit your bill. :D

M&S do some great suits. Got a decent one recently that miraculoulsy fits - they seem to be phasing out 30" waists and 36" chests for some reason.

Marks and Spencers make some awesome suits for very little money

Seconded.

Got a nice suit from them a few years back for about that much. Extra for the tie and shoes though. Was washable which was nice :) No need for dry cleaning everytime.

Top man.

I recently bourght a suit from them consisting of shirt, trousers and jacket for £150 ish.

Very nice quality, fitted jacket and all fits perfectly.

Last tie I bourght was from Burtons on impulse because its awesome, cost £3.

not

The quality of M&S is far superior.

Or spend an extra £50 or £60 on the set and go to TM Lewin at the top of Park street, and get a really nice suit from there. Part of owning a suit is feeling a million dollars in it, and a TM Lewin suit will make you feel so much nicer than an average one from M&S.

Top Man, for a "decent quality" item of anything is an oxymoron.

Their suits are dire IME.

I went into M&S while looking around, all their stuff was bloody horrible, jacket linings were terrible and the trouser material was itchy.

Then your perception of quality is backwards when compared to EVERYONE else in the world.

Enjoy looking like a failure of a mobile phone salesman, as its all you'll manage to pull off with a "Top Man" suit.

Someone dissagrees with you so you spite them like a child.

Grow up.

Paradigm. There's no real need, if he's happy with his suit then leave him to it. The OP will realise that M&S is the better choice (hopefully), and it's not like Fenris can return his suit now anyway.

Moss Bros

I'd have to disagree, my reasoning - for £150 they will sell you a dire suit, I bought a lovely boss morning suit from them recently but initially had them pushing me for some budget sale item (clearly for comission!) I spent a while looking at a few other suits and whilst they have some decent enough high end offerings their low end stock is really poor, seem work, cut etc.. was all awful to get them remedied would cost £50+ and then you might as well have gone with the more expensive suit in the first place.

just imo

I wouldn't want to, it's comfortable, it fits and I'm happy with it.

What a ridiculous statement to make.

I'd take a Top Man suit over an M&S one purely on the basis that it would be more fashonable and look much better than an M&S one.

Either way, why not try both on and see which you prefer?

At this budget you are not going to get better than M&S. Their Timothy Everest suits in particular are very well designed and of good quality. Look out for the Autograph range in your budget though.

As for the shirt, T.M. Lewin currently have a sale on that has shirts for £19. You're not going to get better quality for that price.

Ties I'd suggest being a bit more relaxed on, but make sure it is silk based and not shiny polyester. You can't tell a great silk tie really unless you get really close unlike a suit where the cut and fabric are much more obvious. Believe it or not you can get modern designs in silk for under a tenner from Primark that would do the job.

I think Next and Top Man especially, their suits look entirely gash and you can spot them from a mile off. Like the amount of 'lip' on the shoulder seams, to the cheap looking lining. Seriously, you look like you're 17 and got your first job, and even if you are, you want to look more professional, even worse when you try and pull off bright stripey ties etc and the same shirt everyone has from these stores.

M&S everytime until I can afford better.
