I would highly recommend a Fenix L2D - I use one for UE and its a fantastic bit of kit. If you want something smaller, then maybe the L1D will do?

How big is a Fenix L2D then? What is it comparable to in size? And can you change the beam on it? Say between a focussed beam and a wide beam?

You cant change it from wide beam to spot beam but it does have different levels of output, some blurb from the Fenix website:

General Mode: 9 lumens (55hrs) -> 40 lumens (10.5hrs) -> 80 lumens (4hrs) -> SOS

UE = Urban Exploration (or Urbex)
First one was taken inside Whitley Bay Dome down in the cellar and the 2nd one is inside Jesmond Cinema. I have plenty more where they came from

And get an LED upgrade kit for it. Improved beam and battery life, and it has a sexy blue glow to it.
Inova X5 tactical lights are good - well made and wont let you down.
Surefire E2E - similar to the Inova
Madjak Police - budget busting but great little torch.

If you go for the P3D, you need to get rechargable cr123's otherwise it will cost a lot. Good charger and cells at fenix-store though.
This may be the downside to the P3D it seems quite hard to get hold of any CR123A chargers!
