How about:

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939)- £114.95
ThermalRight XP-120 (Socket 754/939/478) Heatsink - £22.95
MSI RD480 Neo2 Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard - £64.95
FSP Sparkle FX600-GLN Epsilon 600W ATX2.0 PSU - £69.95
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail - £144.95

Subtotal £417.75
VAT £73.11
Total £490.86

That includes a powerful enough PSU to handle 2 gfx cards if you decide to go that way in the future.

Logan09's specification looks fine but you will need a fan to go with the heatsink, you could consider the Arctic Freezer 64 instead which offers good performance and is cheaper.

Also I don't know how you have your Ram, is it 4 matched pairs i.e. 2x512mb and 2x256mb or 3x512mb? If it is 3x512mb you won't get the benefit of dual channel, if it is 4 sticks then you will only be able to run at 2T instead of 1T(I think that the problem affects Crossfire motherboards as well as Nforce ones).
