I'm considering an upgrade, but I'm a little out of touch with PC components. I don't play as much games as I used to, but I encode a lot of HD video.

I'm thinking to simply swap out my i7-2600K (and motherboard and RAM with it) and leave the rest of the machine as it is.

I do play some games, but could upgrade the Gfx card later. (Currently AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series)

Having a quick look at comparisons of the 2600K to the 4770K and 4790K it looks like there might not be that much of a difference? Should I be looking at the 5820K perhaps?

I'm looking in the region of £500-£600 but could be persuaded to go higher if it really meant performance increase.

Thanks.

**EDIT** So maybe this perhaps? What speed DDR4 am I supposed to use in it?

I'm considering getting a Radeon R9 290X as I like the idea of this interest free credit option, but there are now two issues.

With 4 items in my basket, I log in through Amazon, but it tells me - "We appologise, there are currently no delivery options for your address." If I change to one of the other address options, it says the same?

Also, there is no option for the Hitachi finance as far as I can see?

Any ideas what's wrong on both counts? Thanks.

I've never logged into ocuk via Amazon, so I can't comment, but I can say that using the finance option has been great for me in the past. You might even have given me some bad ideas!

I must have done it at some point, now that's the only way it lets me log in...

Okay, now at least it's giving me delivery options.

Where should I see the option to pay using finance?

Had to make a new account, not linked to Amazon. Order placed, got a R9 290X too and the more expensive 3000mhz RAM as the cheaper was out of stock.

Little worried my order currently shows £1,284 of VAT on an order less than a grand?
