Spec me a watch!

I got an Armani watch for £80 off ebay. Very very pleased with it.

Similar to that... and it's very blingy! :D

Just seen this post aswell...

yeah get one off ebay, there much much cheaper than buying them from the shops.

I got an armani watch off there that would have cost me close to 200 and I got it for around 90. There are loads of seikos on there, most of them look nice for a resonably priced watch

You have good taste, sir!

I got my Seiko about 2 years ago for about £95 I think it was...hasn't missed a beat, smart, subtle and keeps time accurately. Cant remember the designation....nearest I've found is the Seiko SND555P1, which looks exactly the same, but with a black face. Mine has a blue face with white dials.

metal straps catch all the hairs on your arms so this might be a problem also changing the straps won't suit all !
I have a timberland with diving strap costs similar to your budget !

Is this too cheap, I know Seiko watches are cheap but this is taking the biscuit.

£14.99 buy it now price, P&P £29.99 from Hong Kong.

I wear a metal-bracelet watch every day and it doesn't catch the hair on my arms.

Catch on mine all the time, I have to wear leather ones.

I got given a lovely Fossil watch for my birthday, plenty styles around like that if you like the chunkier styles.

It's about right - It's a £70 watch for £45 which is what I'd expect for Seikos on eBay.

I bought my Seiko Automatic from an online shop somewhere in the UK for £40, love it. Very plain, but just works. I'd buy another, but I'd need to then get a thingy to wind the one I wasn't wearing, so I wouldn't have to keep adjusting the time when I changed watches.

Just wonder what is the difference between

Seiko Automatic and Seiko Kinetic?

They both have a self winding mechanism from what i can read, but my Kinetic has a little button that shows battery level (with the Seconds Hand) and i don't seem to see that button on automatic watches, is that the only difference? Because from what i can see on ebay, the automatic watches are a hell lot more cheaper than Kinetic ones. Automatic watches starts at around £15, and Kinetic ones starts around £100 !

They are both Automatic but the Kinetic use a capacitor to store energy instead of just a spring which then acts just like a rechargeable battery, they are more accurate just like a Quartz and have a much longer energy storage time.
