spec me a watch

I'm looking to get a watch for my 18th birthday present. I really like the omega seamaster. But that is too expensive at £1300. Around £400 is the maximum.

I'd prefer the watch to have a metal bracelet, and to be automatic. With it being my 18th birthday present, I'd like it to be a watch that will last a long time.

Y'all know your watches, what can you suggest?

Something like the B-42 Marinemaster would be similar to the Omega.

That particular one that you link to is very nice. If I give them my details to get a price for it, am I likely to be bothered by them in the future?
