Spec me a wireless, and cheap non-wireless router.

Basically guys,

Im on TalkTalk (don't laugh, 5mbit a second baby wooo!) and i have a wireless router in my house.

its a old netgear one and gets hotter than the sun and i have to reset it pretty much everytime i try to connect to the internet on my computer.

I just want a good wireless router that works well and won't cause any more bloody problems.

I also have a phone line going to my sky box elsewhere in my house, (its too far away and inconvenient to connect to my wireless router.)

i just need a cheap router that does one ethernet connection, so doesn't need to be big.

If you can help me then thanks a lot.

Is the phone line to the Sky box completely separate (with its own broadband connection), or is it just an extension from the first phone line? If it’s an extension you won’t be able to connect another router to it.

ohh, it is an extension. i didn't know that, even if i split it from the wall socket?

You can only have one router. If you need to get an Ethernet conection to your Sky box without running wires have a look at Powerline adapters (banner ad at the top of this page).
