why not go for a golf/A3 with the 1.9 TDI engine they are bullet proof very reliable and comfortable to drive.

for 4k?

Not having a mondeo, hate the way they look.

Looked at Lagunas, but electrical hell.

But ive had to change injectors and DMF in both within 50k miles from purchase (i do 2k a week) so @ about 100-150k and both these repairs are almost 1k apeice.

If you've paid anything like 1k for either of those repairs you've been conned - I could easily get both done for a grand!
