Yup, 6 for pistols, 12 for rifles. Anymore than that and you need a FAC which makes doing so legally pointless as you can have a .22LR once you have a FAC.
Be careful being any air weapon that’s been “tuned up” by a mate or similar. Some of the German air rifles used to be close to 11 ftlb from the factory and it didn’t take much to push them over the “go to prison” line.
Pleased we ruled out an airpistol for hunting. Great for target and plinking.
Also worth noting you will need a reason to be shooting magpies in your garden as last time I looked the general license is debatable and I wouldn't want to be the one paying the court costs to see which way it lands. Shooting squirrals in a garden isnt going to be easy while not allowing a single pellet from leaving your own boundaries.
