Spec me an airline

For us normally Air Nz as if you get NZ1/2 its a transit flight so only a ~90 minute stop at LA and no need to pick up baggage or re check in or do a full/long customs queue. Makes it much easier travelling with firearms and/or kids.

Anyone flown on the A380 yet? I really want to go FirstClass on Signapore Airlines, looks amazing! But its nearly 10k return :)

Was on the A380 this summer. Lol at first class - "suites", though I'm sure they're nice.

In economy it's better than a 777 though, more room + much better entertainment system (screens bigger, actually works, etc.. though the chess program cheats!!)

To the OP: I'd recommend Singapore Airlines - good service, nice food (basically east or west choice), and Singapore airport is a good one (as airports go :p)

I don't see how having a cousin in the airline can significantly reduce that, either. I get full industry discount with most airlines as staff travel and travel in first class cabins is usually not permitted. Since most ID flights are standby travel and only open to those in the industry (and generally only spouses and dependent children, not cousins), I don't see how it helps the OP at all.

It depends on the airline, if you have worked for Virgin for a couple of years they are not standby flights. You as an ATC will not be getting the same discount that someone who actually works for the Airline gets or their family.

Yours will be along the lines of that website that aviation people can use (the name of which has escaped me) It's not the same as staff travel.

Your getting discounted rates, your not getting full staff travel. You wont be getting the same deal that someone that actually works for virgin gets.

Are you thinking of Touchdown / Interline? I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about staff travel organisaed through UKATTS who have an agreement with quite a few airlines.

I know that our deals generally differ to those of actual airline employees but the rules are generally the same, especially for the staff travel bookings organised through UKATTS.
