Spec me an intersting single player game to play on Sunday :)

Tribes: Vengeance. Came out aroudn the same time as HL2 so should be very cheap if you can find it. Such a great (and overlooked) game. Jet packs, skiing, grapple hooks and a nice twisting story.

I take it you meant portal in the original post and not postal right as I read it? xD both interesting games in their own right though.

Lol it was Portal :)

A one day to complete immersive FPS game?

Tough call. How about - http://store.steampowered.com/app/57300/ ?

Not setting myself a task, just wanted a good game to begin!

batman. Good SP fun. Although I'd wait until it's on offer. Failing that, Dead Space or Mass Effect 2.

If you want cheap and old school, Psychonauts, Monkey Island games. Max Payne 1&2 as well.

I really liked the FEAR games but I've got a thing for no-nonsense FPS games where I arn't trying to find items etc. I also get on much better with modern surroundings rather than olde ones. I don't know if they still look good today. You can buy the first 3 FEAR games (#2 being the fourth) from Steam for £6.99. It looks as though it's just for FEAR 1 untill you read the description.

I know Mass Effect will come up but the demo of ME2 didn't really do it for me... Also is KOTOR similar? Liked the look of that but never had the time.

The ****'s wrong with you!

Seriously ME1 can be had off Amazon for £3 so it's worth getting and giving a some more time.

When I bought my PC I got FO3, Crysis, The Witcher & ME1. ME was just an ather thought really and it took me a couple of weeks to even try it. After I'd played it for a couple of hours I just realised it was the best game I've ever played - by a large margin.
