Spec me an ISP

I am using 32bit also...
God knows then... Are you running Vista in Administrator mode? When I right click on the .exe and click "run as administrator" it seems to load the Dell resource CD
I think it might be conflicting with something else on my PC.

Oh well, it doesn't offer any more info that I can get from the ADSL24 site anyway, just wanted to try it out.

first of all apologies to the OP for completely de-railing your thread......

and zildjian, i dunno. i am using a full admin account. (i stripped uac out of my vista install dvd using vlite). i just unzipped the files and it works.

Just sky BB yesterday and i'm well happy got 16mb connected and i'm downloading at 1.5/6mb a second :)

Everything so far seems great i'm amazed how fast downloads are when you've been use to 2mb connection for 3 years at 225kb download speed.

Thanks for your help mate during this post.

NewNet get my vote. Just moving to them, go live on this coming Monday.
The best thing as far as I'm concerned, is no traffic shaping / management. Reasonable price and one month contracts. Fair enough there are download limits, but I would rather have that, then my connection throttled the odd time I want to use P2P.

Previously on Pipex and downloading anything of a decent size is pretty near impossible a lot of the time!
