just to update
had a TXT message from DHL today

My torch is coming tomorrow at last

Ordered from Bangood, via the fastest Warehouse (CZ) and i paid extra (about a quid) and 2 weeks later..

If you aren't familiar with the UI then have a read of this, it's not as complicated as you think if you don't go into the deep settings.

torch has arrived

quick flick on, love the ramp up and down, quality

goes as low as i need it which is nice, then i can ramp it up if i need to (emergency sort of thing)

Not sure if interested but there is a new version just been announced today of the light you bought with a triple emitter, if interested just sign up and leave a "interested" comment and you'll get it and the cheaper price upon release.

Can anyone recommend a new torch for me around £50? Bought a 1,000 lumen one a while back but feel like upgrading just for the sake of it.

What you after something small and compact or something bigger?

Lots of flood or a narrow beam?

I've got one of these coming in the next few days I'll add some pics when it arrives.

Something a litter bigger tbh, my current one only takes one 18650 which I don't think is a good compromise in terms of size vs battery life, I would much prefer something that can take multiple batteries.

Flood is more important tbh, it's for just seeing what's 20m or so around us when stabling the horses up at night. Electronic switch is really important though because I'll be using it on my bike and my previous experience has been that mechanical switches fail due to the constant vibration.

Was going to recommend this (£53 with voucher) but not sure how you would mount this on your bike with it being taking multiple cells.

Noctigon KR4 Qaud XP-L HI turned up today, multi coloured aux leds currently set to red when the light is switched off. Bought a frosted optics to give a bit more flood.

Hey gang. I've got a Fenix PD35 Tac which currently have some Duracell CR123s in, I've barely used it and they are flat. They just seem to have gone flat just sat doing nothing (think I put them in end of Feb).

So finally looking to put the right rechargeable in. I thought i'd already asked but what battery and from who? I see a few mentioning a few suppliers, but any particular brand and charger I should go for? It's only for this torch.
