Spec me an RPG (Xbox360)

All I can do is repeat the good ones others have said so far since they've been said.
Dragon age origins
Tales of vesperia
Star ocean

You said you played lost odyssey too so that's out but it's a great game. Get used to turn based games or you'll miss out on a lot of classics. Resonance of fate might keep you interested though too.

No problems with turn-based games, but there was just something about Lost Odyssey that irked me. The main reason I played it all the way through was because the story itself was fantastically done, and the dreams you collected were masterful. Also, it's my current high score on a game's GS. 1080/1100 - anyone who's played the game will know exactly what achievement I'm missing.

If you want a really good choice of RPG's, then you would need to buy a PS2 :D

If I were at home, I'd photo my PS2 collection and post it. Suffice to say, I've got just over 2ft of bookcase space taken up my RPGs, and another foot and a half by other games.

Resonance of fate just came out, it's apparently pretty hardcore though.

I collected PS2 RPG's at one point, I haven't ever played most of them! xD

All I know is that it had RPG in the title! :P

Plus the Witcher for X360 is out this month! ;)

This month next year maybe !

The Witcher 2 is due Q1 2011 and the console port of the original Witcher was put on hold back in September and commented upon as still being on hold last week.

Tales of Vesperia, Lost Oddysey and Eternal Sonata I'd say.

I think I've played most of the big RPGs on the 360 and those are probably the best RPGs, passing by the other already mentioned choices of ME etc (I rate Fallout 3 better than Oblivion but I'd say they're not as good as they're cracked up to be).

I wouldn't hold off buying ToV if you find a copy, there were very few copies sent to the EU, so its actually quite hard to find. I wouldnt expect a substantial price drop on it because almost all copies went at full price (I know I paid £34.99 for my copy about 2-3 months ago)

I would also recommend Eternal Sonata, I really enjoyed it and although the battle system can be a little repetitive by the end of the game it's still well worth a look.
