Spec me an SSD

Please. This is going to be my next upgrade. After selling all the stuff in the MM, I will buy a SSD.

But what to buy? Discuss please, and then I will think about a budget.

What board are you using? Reason I ask is you can get SATA II or SATA III SSD's. Also what do you want to use it for in addition to your Windows install?

Biostar T=Power I45, it's a SKT 775, best for OC'ing, and It will be used for Windows 7 64bit and a couple of games, like FM11 and some other's that I play regular. Steam has it's own drive....

Ok well depending on your budget you could have a look at the OCZ 90GB Bigfoot or for a little extra the 120GB Vertex 2.5" version. I found the 90GB Bigfoot to be a decent compromise in terms of cost v capacity.

I would wait for a while until next new batch of SSD's are released, ie Intel G3, Crucial C400 etc...

Ok, but then if I wait for them, and reviews of them, I will then be told to wait for the next-gen and so on and so forth...

But I will hold out for the next-gen, money reasons.

This is why I bought an OCZ Vertex 2 just last week There will always be something better around the corner where PC Tech is concerned.
