Spec me and upgrade (300 squid)

ive got around 300 quid to spend on upgrading my pc (amd 64 3000 s939, 6800gt, 1gb 3200 ram, asus a8v and unbranded psu), id preferably like to go pci-e, what stuff could i get for the money?

but my motherboard is AGP, i was thinking of replcaing motherboard, psu and graphics card

i read somewhere that the combined agp/pci-e motherboards were a bit rubbishy

edit: what socket do dual cores use? could i get a motherboard with dual sockets but only use one socket?

akaska/antec etc 400w psu?
asus s939 sli motherboard (one of those black ones)
x1800gto

thoughts?

its not in my sig

6800gt, but i think thats overheating (see my other thread no linkage), so i want to replace that and the psu is being a bit dodgy as well
