We're getting through a lot of batteries just lately so I've been thinking about going down the rechargeable route.

We mostly use AAA and AA so not too bothered about other sizes.

I've done a bit of research and there's a lot out there and so many different opinions etc.

So what are people using? What should I avoid? Just after some basic rechargeables mostly for low drain devices around the home.

The Amazon basics range are Eneloops but may be one or two generations behind the most current Eneloop own branded ones. If you can get a decent deal on them then go for it, otherwise just get the latest Eneloops.

For a charger, lots of options but definitely look for those that have individual charging rails, i.e. You don't have to load them in pairs or sets since each rail is independently monitored so you can also mix and match types. I charge AAA, AA, C and D in any slot at a time. All good chargers will support this.
IKEA rechargeable batteries are also eneloops as far as I'm aware.

Perfect, thank you. I'll take a look at all 3 options and see what works out best price wise etc.
