As title. Was considering these:

which are at the top of my budget. I've read a lot of
problems with OCZ/Corsair/Crucial but nothing on
Patriot. Buying today (monday), thoughts are much
appreciated! Using Asus P6T Deluxe and hoping for
a good OC on my 920

Very nice RAM indeed - that is the stuff that I would buy if I had get new RAM for an X58.

However, you should be aware that the RAM heatsinks are massive - and depending on your CPU cooler may obstruct the fan. I believe the Noctua DH-14 has problems, but the megahalems (with a 120mm fan) is fine.

Also true for the Cogage Arrow on the Asus P6T.

I have the patriots and the Corsair h50 so you should be fine and have plenty of space with most mobos.

The OCZ reapers are very fast and run very cool. Best choice if your CPU heatsink will allow.

Another shoutout for the corsairs and at that price they are well worth the money. Got mine before they dropped the price and do not regret them one bit.
