Spec me Email Hosting

I'm really getting annoyed with my ISP based email as the speed and reliability is shocking.

I'm looking to buy a domain name and setup email hosting with a good reliable host. I have an iPhone so I'd prefer to use IMAP over POP3 for mail pickup. I'm not to bothered about having massive amounts of webspace as that will only be used for hosting the odd image.

Anyone have any ideas?

I use unitedhosting for some email bits. Mainly due to the rather decent spam filtering they have.

Other recommended companeis would include tsohost.co.uk and register1.net.

You could always use Gmail? They have IMAP support and excellent anti spam etc.
