g7, because mice must be wireless due to constant movement, theres no difference in lag like some fools would say unless they claim to be faster than electricity, and even superman had a hard time with that!

The lag is more the fact that a lot of wireless mice turn of as soon as they are lifted from the mouse mat meaning the first move you make when you put the mouse back down is invalid.
There's something about wireless mice that makes you feel not quite as attached to the cursor in the OS if you know what I mean. I've found my brothers MX510 feels more 'attached' than my MX1000 to the actual cursor on screen.
That's just my experience between the MX510 and the MX1000, the G7 is probably a lot better than the MX1000 for response as it's specifically a gaming mouse.
I can game perfectly well with my MX1000, but I'm just saying I don't think a wireless mouse is quite up to the standard of wired mice, especially for 'hardcore' gamers.

thats all in your head mate.. and it doesnt turn off ? and second why do you lift of the mouse pad? i barely move my mouse 1cm and my mouse mat is 20X30cm

What DPI does that mouse have?
Is it standard 400?
If so that's too little for me.

I have the G5 v2 and the G15 v2, and they are both excellent. The v2 (red one) of the keyboard is smaller than the blue v1 model, since it has less G keys. The screen is also insanely useful, especially for telling me my temps during games .
