Right my 360 is in our smallest bedroom, its my domain, my retreat from reality. Unfortunately SWMBO thinks that me spending huge amounts of time up there is a bit of a liberty so I dug out my Gamecube and stuck it in the living room so we can both play... in the brief times between the soaps and the next reality TV dross.

At the moment I only have Super Monkey Ball, Super Smash Brothers and Donkey Konga all of which she likes playing but I need to get some more games at some point and I'm stuck for ideas.

So other than Donkey Konga 2 and Super Monkey Ball 2 what should I keep an eye out for? I asked her what sort of games she liked and she said "ones like those (refering to the ones I've already got) and Rayman type games"

I know there are some GC lovers out there so spec me up :p

Bought myself a GC about half a year ago as they are cheap now and went and bought a lot of games as they were also cheap.

What my misses enjoys is:
Mario Party 6(when she is winning ;) )
Harry Potter and the goblet of fire (awesome co-op play game, honestly why they changed the format for the new one I am unsure)
Super Mario Sunshine (gotta love Yoshi too)
Mario Power Tennis (a no skill fun game)
Tony Hawks American wasteland
Mario Kart Double Dash
Pikmin 2
Super Monkey Ball 2
Probably would like Animal Crossing too, but Im not getting that as I think it is lame

Rayman is probably a win too

It is worth pointing out that girls attention spans with computer games are pretty limited, so dont expect her to play anything for long.

Sims isnt worth getting on GC BTW, so dont bother!

Zelda the wind waker?

Resident evil 4....?

errrr, metroid?

Animal Crossing?

Maybe she would like one of them mate :)
Multiplayer?

Jeez I had a list somewhere once. Off the top of my head:

Warioware is fantastic, and one of the best multiplayer games ever. Think Mario Party, but bizarrer.

If you can afford it, get two GBAs, two cables, Zelda Four Swords, and FF: Crystal Chronicles. They're both utterly ace, it's just the setup hassle required that doomed them to never be popular. :(

Kicking it up a notch for equal rights there.

If by "girls" you meant to say "girls who haven't played games before and have never had much interest" them you might have a point. But even then, it's simply a matter of showing them the simple, fun games, instead of trying to overwhelm them with some kind of super-complex-RPG-type. Same goes for man or woman. Or they could just not like games. It happens.
