Looking to replace my 2500K setup as my motherboard is getting flakey.

6600K doesn't seem like a big jump from the 2500K. So I've decided on the 6700K :D

I'm a bit out of the loop with latest ram and motherboards.

Typically I go for Gigabyte or Asus, but I'm open to anything.

I'd like to possibly get an m.2 SSD too.

16GB ram.

My psu should be fine, just looking at cpu/ram/mobo

Sold!

Thanks.

Finally, dual bios via a switch, I asked GB to do this when I had my first Athlon 800.

Ooh, I'll need a new cooler too.

Corsair H75 looks decent. I can mount the radiator against the hard drive rack.

(Case is a Coolermaster ATC 110)

I know the bigger air cooling CPU coolers won't fit in my case as my case is ~150mm from the motherboard to the other side panel.

I'll be ordering soon :)

-edit, I can just squeeze in the H100i v2, I may need to Dremel out a bit of the CD drive bay, but that's not a problem :D

I'm pretty attached to my 110. It fits perfectly on the stand in my desk, a new case means a new desk too.

Thanks for your help gents. :)

Basically it has 2x BIOS chips, so if you screw one up, you can revert to the other and restore a 'working' copy to the original one.

Instead of having a non-booting motherboard.
