Spec me New Keyboard :(

Personally I'd save the extra week or so and go for the Lycosa, and this is coming from a G11 user, I'm soon going to be switching to it too :D
 
Logitech Ultra X. I'd pick this over the majority of expensive keyboards, especially for gaming (it's better than any 'gaming keyboard' i've seen), and it's cheap.
 
I've just looked at buying a G15.

Just trying to work out why its £69.99 direct from logitec, but only £47.99 in vat and delivery...............from elsewhere.
 
I went from a Saitek Eclipse 1 to a G15, which I really like. I don't make use of the macro keys, but I make good use of the LCD screen, media keys, and I like the soft lighting. I found the lighting on the Eclipse a little too strong and distracting, which is not so for the G15.
 
As you may have noticed the ROCCAT™ Valo Gaming Keyboard is not released yet.
The reason for that is that the keyboard is currently in the process of being redesigned to better fit the needs of the gamers.
We can fully understand you waiting impatiently for the product. Unfortunately at this point of time, we cannot state a release date.

That info from the website would suggest it's not even in production yet.... so could be an early 2009 release (just guesing here though).

The Roccat stuff does look damn nice, though i'm very happy with my Enermax Aurora keyboard. - simple, solid, good looking and great to use.

Maybe its worth just getting a cheap board to see you through til the Roccat is released? guess it depends on how bad your current board is getting.
 
well im TRYING to play COD4 atm, ctrl button gone, keeps stopping, so cant crouch, and when i can, its set that i have to old it, and it stays crouched even if i let go....its borked, is the Cyborg any good to tide me over?
 
G15 v2 here.

Seems solid enough, keys are nice, macro software works fine.

LCD display is kinda pointless for me in that it really just displays pretty useless info, I use it to display the time when I'm playing games.

As i said, it happened to mine. I opened it up and cleaned it out. Lasted a couple more weeks :)
 
ill be getting the Kone this week, just found my old k'board, my cherry K1 Business (meh, itl do for now) untill the Roccat Valo comes out, then itl be mine :D :D Muwahahaha
