I need a nice shiny new CPU, Cooler, Mobo and RAM to go with my shiny new 980Ti.

Budget of around £3-400 if possible.

That bundle looks just the ticket. It also gives me enough headroom (money wise) to upgrade my 8 year old PSU as well.

Any suggestions on a PSU? Want enough headroom in case I go 980Ti or pascal sli in future.

if your gonna go 980ti sli you will need at least 850w psu.

Thanks for your help. I'm in 2 minds now about the bundle. It's good, but I'm just not sure I would notice a big difference between the 6400 and my i5 2500k at 4.4ghz.

Agreed, if you said you had a 2500k in the first place.

I have the AS Rock extreme 4 gen 3 and yes, I believe it does. As it's sandybridge though, I dont think it will do PCI 3.0, only 2.0.

Had the same motherboard until broke it , but your fine with a 980ti + sli so get yourself a new monitor , keyboard, speakers, sound card .

Considering the PSU mentioned is 8 years old, I'd be upgrading that before anything else.

Cheaper to replace the PSU now while you have the money than take the chance of it going belly up and taking some components with it.. especially as you might be upgrading it anyways.
