Spec Me Router

I have a friend who needs to split his cable connection into 2 comouters.

he wants a router that has a Eithernet input port rather than ADSL Line Input.

Can anyone spec me a cheap router that will suit my needs.

if you dont want to give out a wireless signal you can always get an unmanaged switch.

If he only has a cable modem just now, a switch would be completely useless.

As for router suggestions, search this forum. There are loads of threads asking exactly this.

no you can't.

just get a WRT54GL router and put Tomato firmware on it

i agree with this, been using tomato for a long time now and i cannot fault it
