Spec me some documentaries about the universe

I'm looking for interesting youtube documentaries for a 7 year old about the universe. I've always been fascinated about how the universe works and think I understand current threories fairly well. But my ability to explain it to my kids is lacking.

So I'm looking for documentaries which explain things well enough for a 7 year old.

I have this on DVD still entertaining to watch but massively outdated.

A lot of the theories he discusses in that series have since been disproved.

It is from 1980 so hardly surprising.

Bit much for a 7 year old though

You might want to take a look at Space (BBC Sam Neill) and The Universe (History Channel). Have you thought of getting a book, do a search for “astronomy d&k”.

Stephen Hawking's recent series is very very good as is Brian Cox's.

Carl Sagan if only for his insightful and thought provoking words that accompany the then understood science behind Space travel and its impact on mankind. Those words and thoughts are timeless even when the Science evolves.
