I'm looking at getting a set of Bluetooth earbuds but there are so many to choose from it's getting confusing.

What I'm after is something with half decent/good battery life, good sound quality, will stay in ear if I'm running/sprints, I guess some splash proof for sweat as they will mainly be used for the gym.

I'm hoping to not break the bank too so something around £50 would be ideal.

Here we go again-

Using earbuds while you work out is not a good idea. Especially if you sweat a lot. There is a risk of getting a light shock to your ears and killing the earbuds. There are earbuds designed for working out. I don't think you'll find anybody suggesting any of them here as they tend to sound crap and there are a lot of audiophiles here.

I'm not really expecting them to sound amazing anyway.
The main purpose is to listen to some music and drown out others, not sit in a room listening to award winning sounding headphones while people sweat around me.

Audiophiles are a little strange anyway.

We find people who use $30 earbuds with their iphone to listen to music a bit strange ourselves ;)
Where are your $1200+ HD800's and your $1000 amp? We ask.

To be fair, I don't think I could justify spending that sort of money on audio equipment. Fair play.

All i was after is some half decent Bluetooth wireless earphones that I can use in the gym for an hour or two a day. I don't own an iPhone either btw and prefer to purchase in £'s if that helps. Thank you.

No you can only purchase in $ sorry.

Check this

Interesting video. Thanks for the link.
After seeing the size of them in the video, I would most likely lose them. I think I'll have to look at the earbuds which are joined together with a cable.

Plus at the price range I'm looking at, there probably won't be much difference in audio quality. Reason I'm reluctant to spend more as they will be only used for gym work and more than likely get rattled about.

Jaybird X2's. My pair I've been using for like 4 years now has just failed and I'm buying 2 more from the auction place to stock up cause they were so good. You can find them for around £50 since they're the older model.

Definitely get the 8 hours they claim, charges with micro USB and sound quality is honestly great.

Thanks for that. I've been looking at the X3 version and felt they were maybe a bit expensive for my use. If I can get X2 for that price then we may have a winner.

Others I had looked at were:

Aukey ....
Anker soundbuds
Taotronics
Soundpeats q30

I was searching there. Searching what you suggested picked them up so thank you for that. Hope it doesn't get you in bother. Don't see how it could though.

Hmm after looking into them a bit more, it's sounding like they could be fakes. There appears to be an abundance being sold through said website and the rainforest place also. Be careful.

Sorry for the late reply, been so busy recently.

So basically I cancelled my order from that seller as I saw a new pair listed at the same price from a private seller. Those turned out to be fakes, really obvious. I put in another order with that seller we both saw so that pair should be with me on Wednesday. I shall update.

Ok thanks. Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

So chuffed. Received it factory sealed. Packaging was a bit scruffy but that's all. Authentic as well. I'm thinking of picking up another pair as a spare for the future. Purchase them mate. Hopefully you purchase it from the same seller. Item number is 182685515898.

Thanks for confirming. Just ordered a set now. I'm going to order a cheap set of the Soundpeat Q30 for taking offshore with me. Thanks for your help.

That's the Jaybirds arrived. They are definitely the real deal. Annoyed about the soundpeats. As soon as mine were despatched, I got an email from the rain forest stating that as I had bought them before they were going on a flash deal taking another £5 off them.

I believe if you get on live chat they are happy to refund the difference in price drop.

I'll give it a try. Its only £5 at the end of the day.
They arrived this morning and I must say I am impressed. A bit more bass compared to the Jaybird X2, Build quality seems pretty good too. I'm impressed for £20.
