Seeing as I got some really helpful replies to my tripod query I've decided to come back and see what other bargains you have for me ;)

I'm after a few bits of kit to fulfil my wants (for now), a flashgun, a wide angle lens, a new rucksack and a new shutter cable for my D3100.

Flashgun:
I've been looking at the Nissin Di622 which can be had for ~£100 and a diffuser for ~£10. Is there anything else better than this in the same price range? I've never really used flash before so I have no clue what too look for :confused:

Wide angle:
I've spied the Tamron 10-24mm lens for ~£360, it gets mostly good reviews too. If there are any old lenses (with aperture rings) that are worth a look at I'd be interested in these also as I will likely be getting an old (80s) Nikon film SLR to play with soon so any extra lenses for that is a bonus!

Rucksack:
This one I'm just at a loss, I've looked at (and liked) the Fastpack 100 however with my 70-300 lens it's just too small, the 200 on the other hand leaves too much room for movement due to a small camera body. The Slingshot 202 I believe is a great fit however I don't like the single shoulder idea as I do hill running with my camera. The, ahem, rainforest Basics bag looks great however I'd also like somewhere to store personal items (waterproofs, food, etc). If there was enough room for a netbook too I'd be over the moon but it's hardly a deal breaker. Yep I'm an awkward sod :p

Shutter cable:
More of a question than anything, is there a remote I can use which will either allow me to use exposure bracketing (I can do this with my laptop via USB cable but it's a lot of messing around for a single HDR) or at the very least a cable that allows me to change my shutter times without touching the camera?

Not the cheapest option, but by far the best solution out there as far as I am concerned;

F-Stop gear. http://fstopgear.com/

I have the F-Stop Loka and love it! It is much better than the alternatives from Lowepro etc, as they have been designed to be used in extreme conditions and situations so are really comfy and lightweight. :)

I know nothing about the nissin flasguns but this thread may be of some help http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18230214

I read that thread last night, the 468 unit is Canon only unfortunately and as I said, I really don't know what to look for in a flashgun so I can't extract much useful from that thread. The 467 is a Nikon unit though and around £60 new.

That's a little more than I can justify on a bag :eek: They do look very good though.

Is that F Stop company struggling or something? They seem to be out of stock on most things, and their online support, is offline. Not the best first impression. There's a bag I quite like on there too :(

They are about to launch a new website, so that might answer the online support. Don't think they are struggling at all, infact I think they are growing faster than they can handle at the moment. A lot of their bags are pre ordered as soon as they are announced (I pre ordered the Loka 6 months before it was released) so when the first few shipments come from the manufacturers they are all sent straight out.
