Should be good for overclocking and from a reliable brand. The mobo is: Gigabyte Z68X UD7 B3.
Please also state why you are recommending your choice.
Thanks.

Cheaper and designed to operate at the perfect voltage for Sandy Bridge:

Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit £31.99

No loss of performance either compared to other 1600MHz RAM:

The RAM is irrelevant for overclocking the CPU as you should be getting an unlocked "K" processor which overclocks by raising the multiplier which doesn't change the RAM speed.

Good RAM, good price.
For sandybrigde, 1600Mhz is plenty and over that makes little difference.

Ok guys, thanks for the recommendations. Both very good. At the moment im siding with the kingstons simply because of more user reviews and they would complements my planned build.
Apart from having more money than sense, is there any reason to spend any more?

No reason at all.

Just remember that if you get the Kingston make sure you set the DRAM voltage manually.

At 1600MHz it'll probably default to 1.65V but it will usually run quite happily at ~1.5V and that's better for the longevity of your processor.
