just had my eyes tested for the first time in over 15 years and i need new lenses.the shop where i had the test appears quite pricey and as my mrs keeps telling me i should buy them online i thought i'd ask for a recommendation first.

http://www.goggles4u.com/

I have used those a few times, quality does differ from frame to frame but all i have are acceptable. The lenses are fully coated and for under £15 delivered you can't complain.

I wear glasses all the time and i am very hard on them, these laste me around 6 months. I have bought pairs in the optition for £200 whcih have worn out after 3

We can't spec your specs without a picture of you.
No picture = Dame Edna Everage specs. :p

She who must be obeyed in this house bought a pair from SelectSpecs.com - but she wouldn't particularly recommend them.

I never have so I can not really comment on this BUT!:

Dont buy glasses online mate, thats just silly.

You get what you pay for, goto VE or somewhere!

I have to agree.
When you go to an optician for new glasses they will measure where on the frame you will actually see through and ensure the lens centre is in the correct position.
