Spec me some sunglasses

It depends on how your face looks, your dress sense, all sorts of things. How much do you want to spend? What style do you want? What shape's your head? Come on. Go to a shop and think for yourself.

Definately try and invest in some Polarised lenses, I got a decent set of Oaklies for driving with that really cut down glare from other cars... I hate it. They are pretty decent in overcast conditions as well, make things clearer :).

I have to say I've got bored of oakleys, people talk like they're the be all and end all but they're just another pair of expensive glasses, anything else in that price bracket will be as good (desptie how much oakley go on about all their special technologies). People just buy them as a fasion statement whether the style suits them or not.

The only thing in their current range that interests me is the nanowire 1s but they're not special enough to pay £200+. I need a new pair for this summer and I've no idea what they'll be but I doubt it'll be oakleys. As said, for anything other than sports, a nice pair of aviators are probably the way to go.

^ Lies.

As for the Nanowires, they are immense they come polarized and amazing to drive in, yes the price tag was a little steep but their a lifetime investment :)

I can't see how they are a lifetime investment when they are so damn flimsy.

Aviators have better coverage, come polarised if you want and are cheaper, no sunglasses are a lifetime investment for me, I wear them, they get scratched and replaced every couple of years. I'd happily pay £250 if I really liked them but they're nothing special design wise really.

they last along time, if you look after them if you leave them on car seat etc what you expect i wear mine for driving and maybe general use, but once i finished with them i put them back in the carbon case and give them quick wipe with the HD cloth supplied.

Oakley Gascans. Judging by the Oakley site, around £70

Well if thats what you want, I want glasses I can just wear when I need to and not worry about. When I go out for a walk to the shops and throw them on becasue it's sunny I don't take a case or cleaning cloth with me, it stops being sunny then I'll take them off and put them in my pocket or something, they get scratched in the end.

I'm not saying they won't last ages for you, but for me, the idea of putting them in their case every time I take them off doesn't work.

I'm thinking either the more modern aviator style which come polarised. I think they're Ray Ban 3309.

Or Oakley square wires.

I've got proper aviators, but they're my dad's old ones and are pretty massive. I'd like them polarised too.

They do look pretty nice. :)

2.0 or 3.0? I'm leaning towards the 3.0.

Ray ban frustrate me since all the polarised lens options seem to be in weird colour combinations or hard to find instore to try on. :(
