While the clear sole ones are certainly different, they're a bit 'bling' for my liking, as are most in the thread tbh, but the Italias do win hard. Subtle is the way forward.

Are they actually any good as a trainer?

I just bought some Adidas Deviance for the gym as they looked like they'd offer better protection around the toe (I split the seams around the left big toe on 2 sets of Max Classics in 6 months playing squash), but I'm not convinced about the looks, and they're nowhere near as comfortable or flexible as the Max Classics.

Cost me 70 from foot locker, 65-70 yeah, erm i dont wear normal soles they were comfy though, but i use gel soles, as im always on my feet.
