I don't know what these are, and they are probably too OTT for you, Fox.

The E39 doesn't suit BMW's latest generation of wheels.

True, and to be honest i find thats the case with most cars, its like putting Astra VXR wheels on a MK3 Astra GSi.

Of the 3, and from purely a looks perspective, the 37s.
However, I'm going to go along with the suggestion that it'll bugger up the ride quality on your motor. Really not worth the effort.

It can't be that bad becuase those wheels were a popular option on the E39 and were infact standard fit on the Champagne II and Aegean Blue Editions.

Maybe not, but if he was happy with how the exisiting wheels looked he'd simply have them refurbished. He's obviously happy to sacrifice a little comfort for a small cosmetic change :)

It'll probably feel a little more bumpy, i doubt any passengers would be able to tell the difference though. Possibility of the handling feeling slighty different, but nothing you can't get used to :)

Would you be having a wider profile on the rears than the fronts? Would they be the same profile as the existing tyres width wise?

I like style 37s but i always see them on SE models or prefacelifts and they tend to have a yellow tinge to them so look dull.

The e46 in estoril blue(??) with full AC schnitzer pack around here looks the nuts with those wheels though. Always liked that design.

Those OZ ultraleggera are £245 ex vat per wheel in 18 form! The guys at work seem to not like the guys that run the motorsport wheels place up here(unhelpful arrogant ******** apparently.)

.

You sure? Style 37's were only ever on the options list of the Sport models - although people have started to fit them to SE's aftermarket I can't say I've seen more than one, ever.

Sounds like a 330 Clubsport.

there are a few ACS e46's that i have seen.

though i prefer the clubsport (clubsport alloys in 18" form would be great!)

Style 37 or the Alpinas. In my opinion the other ones look worse than your current ones (not taking in to account the condition)
