thats what i read from some reports, but this morning i saw fuji's own magazine and thats what they have put in the magazine. since the whole magazine is geared towards getting people to buy XE2, i thought they would at least get that bit right. i got an XE1 and havent played around with an XE2 yet, so i cant confirm it for sure.

The actual EVF part itself is the same as in the X-E1. However with the camera's upgraded internal processors, it can run the EVF at 50hertz. This is up from 25hertz if I remember correctly on the X-E1.
The below vid isn't really a fair test (scientifically), but it does show there is indeed a performance difference between the EVF's.
