Spec me up, need complete loop

you could just drain, get a new pump and sell the combo on the MM im sure someone would take you up on the offer despite the noise
 
You mean buy another res/pump combo ? Ideally thats what id like to go into the 2 drive bays, I would want something decent but runs silent though

Any reccomendations on one to choose ?
 
Morning mate, sorry aint been on in a few days been crazy busy,

OcUK contacted me and said I can return just the pump so that makes things a little easier, one of work colleagues has just bought the exact same kit (albeit he got the 360mm version) I called into his house last night and had a listen to his, his is virtually silent apart from a slight hum to the pump so there is something definitely wrong with mine.

I'm tempted to just rip the whole lot out and send it back and go with the pump/res combo then just buy the 240mm rad, I could even leave the 240mm rad in my case and just have ocuk bill me for a 240mm rad, they sell the exact same rad which is currently on sale so cant see why they cant just put one of those into the kit I send back to make up the same bundle I bought.

Will have a go at bleeding it today, that'll be fun lol.
 
Hi mate,

Just drained the system totally and fitted my stock cooler so I can still use the system,

Decided to return the whole thing to ocuk for a refund (minus the 240mm which they can charge me for as they have them for sale at £37.99, would be a pain to remove now),

I am going to go with the D5 dual bay res/pump combo as I have all tubing running to my drive bays now plus I preferred the look of having the res in the front of the case, I'm not too sure where I would mount a tube res in my case tbh as tempted as I am to go that route though.

I've ordered those extra fittings you mentioned too as when I tried bleeding the system it was a total nightmare, there was lots of fluid inside which I couldn't get out so I've had to mess around pulling tubes apart to finally get it all to drain, even with the T line lots of fluid stayed in the system, Im going to fit the connectors you said so hopefully in future it will be a case of unscrewing one end and letting the coolant run out.

Sure ill get there one day :)
