Spec me: Wall-mounted tool organisation

I'm looking to put my tools onto the wall "properly" after living with a bodged Ikea pegboard setup for a while. However I'm trying to avoid having to build something myself something, i.e. a french cleat system.

I had my eye on the "VonHaus 45pc Metal Pegboard Set" but its been out of stock for a while, but I like the robustness of it (although i'd likely need to buy 2x sets as I have a good number of tools!). I'm dubious about the plastic ones and how durable they are.

What are you all using for wall mounted tool storage, if anything? Any recommendations?

Have a look at slatwall panels. Not got it myself but I think it looks tidy, some folk think it'll make your garage look like a shop.

I just screwed a sheet of OSB to the wall and painted it white. I then put either a screw or a nail in for anything I want to add. Added a rail at the bottom for my chisel's and use the belt hook on my drill and driver to hang from a screw each.
