Spec me WC Bits

Hi all

Can someone spec me some WC parts, Only looking to cool the CPU and looking to spend £200-£250.. Never done WC before so need something straight forward please

There's a few good kits available that can do this. Soft tubing removes the learning curve of bending tubing.

It's worth doing your research/reading around though as you will need some knowledge of the tricks and pitfalls of water cooling. Things like how to fill, how to drain, etc.

Current setup specs:

AMD Ryzen 1200
Asus A320M-K Motherboard
8GB Team group Vulcan 3000mhz
128gb Team Group SSD
GIGABYTE RX570 4GB
Evga 450BT PSU

All in a Cooler Master Lite 3.1 case

I will be updating the CPU soon to the 1500x, sorry for the rubbish pics, taken on phone

I can't see it working out in that case, mate. I can't see how you'll fit reservoir, pump and 240 radiator between the GPU and front panel and you have no option to mount the radiator on top.

What sort of cases are ideal in a mAtx factor

Could re-site the SSD, remove the cage it's currently sat on then use a pump/res unit there & front mount the radiator?

Or, thinking about it, doing all I've mentioned above but get the XSPC Photon Res/Pump as it attaches to the radiator and can be fitted vertically

Im gonna look at a better case in Matx form to benefit WC, Any suggestions

How small a case are you wanting? I haven't seen many cases that are strictly mATX and not ATX, as the difference is pretty small (just 3 card slots)

Well tbh smaller the better, i had ITX before but i think that would make WC to hard...

Maybe you should look at cube-type cases? Some of those can be quite accomodating for radiators

Total: £93.65 (includes shipping: £8.70)

slim line rad at 25mm that performs better then CLC units or ekwb 28mm thick SE- have a google on the performance of the SE- not very good at all

I was looking at AIO but I really want to give WC ago

Cool, & don't forget you'll need 2 fittings per unit in the loop, so 2 for the CPU, 2 for the Radiator, 2 for the Pump/Res etc.. and they need to be the same size as your chosen tubing
