a 3D Modelling/Rendering Computer!
Hiya people, needing your help...
As of now until around september next year i will be using a pants Acer Aspire One AX3300 Compact PC, which is absolutely horrible for rendering my projects especially in 3Ds Max at present. (Studying Games Development at College
)
I have applied for university looking to get into the same thing, and obviously will apply for the student loan, leaving me some monies for a new PC for Rendering
I would like a cooled system, with probably an oc'ed cpu 3.5ghz+ i think, not knowing much is quite hard
.
6/8GB RAM - ample enough for rendering?
Single GPU - 6870??
Fans
Case
hopefully an SSD for booting up and for 3Ds Max, or would it not make a difference? 64/128GB
1 or 2TB HDD for render storage
mobo? - recommendations for this type of system, not sure what i can go for, maybe usb 3.0? or would that not make much difference?
already got keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, the lot.
although will probably get a new mouse when i get this computer built when i get my loan
If you need any other information for my possible spec, give us a buzz, and till then....cheers for any information and builds in advance.
EDIT:
BUDGET: Around £800-900
