As the AMD processor is out of stock can somebody please recommend a replacement processor around the same priceish?

Also as I said in in a previous post he is going to be re-using a case. Do you think this case is ok for the components he is getting?

The case should do for your build, it looks like s standard case.

How long can he wait, as the 6300 is a good chip for the price.

Well he is itching to get the PC built. He said it depends on how long the wait will be until OcUK have some in stock.

If he can afford it, the Gigabyte 990X you listed first would be a better buy - allows more flexibility with upgrades.
