Spec my home please

Haven't had a home cinema system for a while.

Looking at 5.1, good bass, as few cables as possible (definitely no cables to the rear speakers). Even better if I can connect my iPad and Spotify to the system.

Any ideas?

Wireless rear speakers aren't found on the sort of home cinema systems that you'll find us recommending here. They're the preserve of the all-in-one systems based around a disc player/amp box. "Wireless" is a bit of a misnomer too; you'll be trading two wires from the main unit for a second amp that wires so let to the rear speakers, so you still have wires but just in a different direction.

If the Sony ticks your boxes then go for it. The gear we recommend is usually what people by after owning such systems and they want to get better quality.
