unless you really want that RAM, pc6400 ram will allow you to run that CPU at 3.6GHz while keeping the ram at stock speeds.

what PSU do you have?

what Res do you game at?

not sure if a 9800GX2 will be better option then 8800GTX in sli

PSU: 600W SLI-ready coolmaster thingumy

Res: 1920x1200

I honestly don't know if 2 8800s are better than a single GX2, but they end up with 512MB more RAM for a tenner less than the BFG card.

I chose the RAM because faster usually equals better and it's on this-week-only heh. If PC6400 allows for better overclocking I may well go with that.

the ram you pick will allow you to reach 4.5GHZ before you need to OC the RAM, so your ram will be a better choice however the cpu is unlikely to reach those speeds and remain stable long enough for everyday use
