Spec Please

Could anyone create a cheap spec for a pc whcih will mainly be used for office work, web browsing and general everyday use. It shouldn;t be anything naff and be able to handle most things efficiently. Clients don;t want to ahve to get a new one soon after.

No OS needed as that is sorted. No monitor, speakers, kb or mouse needed either.

Here are my two suggestions:

First a nice simple one, normal PC midi tower size:

Second a more adventurous Mini ITX system:

4GB of RAM may be a bit overkill for you, so chop it down to 2x 1GB sticks (2GB total) if you want to save £20.

Those budgets are ok, maybe a bit more available. I would prefer to keep it to intel. Never tried a mini ITX system. Whats the difference? - the antec 300 would be a great case to use

I don't like the Antec 300. It's too flimsy. The NZXT is cheaper and better. The CM Elite 335 is about the same and much cheaper.

mITX is tiny, basically. Not much point to it in a desktop computer in my opinion, but whatever.
