Spec recommendations please.

Hi.

I am looking at an AMD prebuilt system to run iTunes, music software for mixing and composing and to run games such as Need for Speed (All of them), and train simulators, to play on the highest settings with AA on full e.t.c. for my cousin. I am looking at £500 downwards, don't worry about monitors, mice, keyboards. Just the tower please.

Also what is the ATI equivelent of an Nvidia GeForce 9600GSO?

Why do you want to know the ATI equivalent of 9600? most modern cards surpass it comfortably
I recomended the 4850 purely for budget/performance, if you want the 4870 go for it, takes you just over your £500 though

I have the 9600 GSO in my current HP and I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to get the ATI version. I know it will take me to just over £500, but if it's on offer...
