Another spec me I’m afraid….

My budget is £2750 & I need absolutely everything - Tower, monitor, O/S, keyboard, mouse, gamepad, speakers, headphones (wireless), mouse mat, thermal paste, and finally a multi-function printer.

I really like the look of the Corsair Obsidian 800D case so would like that included - although I am a bit concerned about the best way to cool everything??! Water, air, or both? I hear good things about the airflow of the case if you change a few internal fans? Water is not out of the question but it just adds a couple of hundred extra pounds to the bill and a maintenance headache so I would prefer air for now. One of the reasons I like this case is that it gives me the option of switching to water at a later date.

I know a lot of people will not like the next thing I am going to say but…..I really want the Nvidia 3D Vision and Samsung Syncmaster monitor bundle! I know it means gaming at only 1680x1050 but I have read a fair few reviews and I have made my mind up - although no doubt you will try and change it! The monitor itself gets a pretty good review on TFT Central so even if the 3D bit is rubbish I should still get on with the screen, hopefully.

On that previous point I should say that I am waiting for the new Nvidia GT300 series to be released so if you do spec me then make sure you budget at least £500 (or more!) for one.

OK, I think I have covered everything, so, if you were going to buy a brand new system what would you buy?

Thanks.

appears i didnt read your thread properly take out the triple crossfire 5870s and replace with whatever nvidia comes out with. get a g15/19 keyboard and whatever mouse is good.
you can get a middle fan for the 1200. dont know much about water cooling. as it seems you wont be buying till nvidia releases there cards you might as well wait till then and make another spec me thread as core i9 6 core processors will be around the corner!
