We currently have a very poor zyxel router which just inst up to the job. it crashes frequently causing our kayako support cookies to time out and mess everythign up.

Its used in a corporate environment, I think it may be ideal to have one with VPN facilities, so I can work from home?

Anyway spec away :D

I bought a Netgear FVS114 which has VPN, but it crashes frequently. Its classed as an enterprise product, but really isnt very stable. Ive currently got a support ticket in with netgear. It seems theres quite a few out there like this as a lot of websites are reporting problems.

Cisco 837, 857 or 877.
Accept nothing less. 100% reliable & stable.
My experience with draytek products is extremely poor having had the misfortune to support over 200 of them in a previous job. Once I started swapping them out with 857's all the problems started to go away :)

Because your in a corporate environment I suggest a Cisco router too aslong as you got someone to help configure it as it could be a pain in the bum.
