You do realise there cheaper just about every where else, not sure whats going at ocuk, you do a stonking deal with gfx cards but just about everything else is sub par deal wise

In the video, he mentions 10 feet of cable...which is pretty generous.

I was looking at throwing my cash down on the Corsairs...but these look to be a very good price imo.

I'm very tempted, but has anyone tried these who wears glasses? Had to give up my medusas due to the heavy head squeeze.

I tried these out yesterday, and I must say I was impressed, I have the G35's myself and I feel that these are up there with them. For the price as well, they are amazing.

Is the microphone detachable? Are they better than the Creative HS 800s?

I like the look of the white one more, I like the contrast between the white + black parts.

No the microphone isn't detachable, but you don't really notice it when its folded against the headset

got some Plantronics 367's the other day, faultless headset, only £18, and are suited for glasses wearers like me

I have the Plantronics 367 too, it's a good headset, comfortable for long periods of wear.

On the other hand I absolutely despise the Creative Fatal1ty HS-800 I also bought.

Actually I bought it first but it has HORRIBLE ergonomics, you wear the bloody thing for more than short periods and you get very sore ears, especially notable when you lift off the headset.

It's the pressure of the small cups being pressed on your ear cartilage, very uncomfortable.

Which is a shame because the sound from the HS-800 is better than the 367.

Vaguely heading back to the topic, the ear "cups" on this are very similar to the Plantronics, large square over-ear rather than on-ear and are probably comfortable for long use.

These look really nice. I bought a pair of Plantronics 777 headphones in the new year so I'm OK for headphones right now though. I like the folding feature as while I don't travel with my headset it does take up a lot of space when I'm not wearing it.

Though one thing I've found with the headsets I bought is that the in-line controls always get in the way. Just too bulky. My (quite cheap) Logitech headset had the good idea of integrating the controls into the headset itself. Much easier to use IMO.

Yeah. I'm never going back to the On-Ear headsets again.
