Hi.

The specs for my laptop say that there is no bluetooth, yet I've just been having a look and I notice a broadcom chip on the mobo.

Any ideas on how to enable it?

Thanks
Will.

Sure thats not the modem?

I know my Dell has all the lights, switches and buttons, but since I didnt pay for the little PCI-Card that fits in the slot in the battery compartment I dont have it.

Looking in device manager, the modem says Agere Systems HDA Modem, this chip deffenitly said broadcom on it.

I just noticed my ethernet is broadcom, maybe that's what it is ><

Bluetooth will be a plug in module much like a wifi card and not part of the mainboard, some laptops will be able take a module if that model had an option of one. just a case of plugging it in and installing the drivers.
