I have just discovered the joys of speech recognition. It's pretty awesome. I'm still trying to figure out how it works, but so far it's pretty fun. You guys should give it a shot. It's a pain in the ass that it doesn't recognise some programmes though. And yes, I am just using this as an excuse to use it. :-)

What software are you using?

Last year me and my mate looked at few review websites and at the time they were all saying dragon naturally speaking was the best out there. We then tried a trial version of dragon naturally speaking. I am so glad we did not buy the full version as it was absolutely pants. When we done the training bit we could not get it to recognise some of the words we said. I know you have to finish the training first but we couldn't get it done. So we then tried seeing what happened in Word. What we spoke is not what came up on the screen.

If I had paid £700 + for that program I would have been fuming.

I would love to find speech recognition software that can understand my scouse accent lol.
