Speed fan

Hi
I have installed Speed fan and wasnt sure which readings reflect which temps.
After running 3dmark06
Temp 1 - 37C
Temp 2 - 34C
Temp 3 - 22C
HD0 - 32C
Core - 14C

Any ideas?

From those readings i would hazard a guess that temp 1 and temp 2 are your Cpu temps (one for each core) with temp 3 being the ambient temperature in the case.

The 'Core' reading is a bit baffling so can't really comment on that, with the HD0 reading being for your hard drive.

To verify the cpu temps you could try coretemp just to make sure those are accurate as coretemp is generally the most accurate.

What is PWM?

To verify the cpu temps you could try coretemp just to make sure those are accurate as coretemp is generally the most accurate.

Core Temp reports 6C/11C for the two cores??? at idle
BTW its a brisbane core.
